It's a minimum of 2m and rising. It's expensive. That's what you get for pissing about with 6 bids. Their chairman literally have a conference today and said be enjoys selling on deadline day. That's why .

We need him though. Goes against what was said but it's needed

Was their ex chairman that I think. Got new owners for this window

couldn't really care less about the fee but that'll be a lesson learnt for SD and co. waiting until the last minute trying to call their bluff has cost us a canny bit of money at this level. could have probably had it wrapped up weeks ago for far less rather than offering buttons initially
We’ve been making bids consistently for weeks havnt we? So this isn’t really true?

They knew we were desperate, and they were right. Happens all the time in this window. They were in no hurry, probably were always gonna sell but sat waiting and waiting.

Don’t think we’ll get the right price confirmed. Wigan will be suggesting £3/4m, we will he suggesting £1.5m and it will eventually be undisclosed. The lateness also suits both parties - Wigan get to be looked upon as very hard bargainers and we get looked at as being persistent to get our man. Win win for both clubs.

Ex chairman wasn’t it, saw that though. He loved it. Now he wants to be an agent. Obviously knows where the money is
