Take nothing away from you lot a great signing, but you lot have had sissoko cabaye tiote de Jong cabella
All came with a very good background and reputation and only two delivered which can be classed as successful seasons.
It's all good and well having good players on paper, it's the man in charge who makes them a good team

Very true. Interested to hear who your two who delivered are ?

Cabaye definitely, so either sissoko or tiote ? Both decent when want to be yet neither would be missed.

De Jong a crock and cabella shite.

Well cabaye and Tiote I'm on about when yous finished fifth.

Tiotes not as good as he thinks he is. Good value for money signing undoubtedly but nobody would be arsed when he goes. Misses too many games and not the ' Hardman' he and many others profess him to be

Potentially cracking signing. Type of player most teams are crying out for. Box to box midfielder, scores and creates goals, proven international with good attitude.

Surprised sunderland with the Dutch connection wernt in for him to be honest.
Strange how the top 6 weren't in for this top class player........

Different stages of class. He's not a Schweinsteiger or fabregas yetbut in terms of best available to the also rans he's as good as it gets.

Also he's only 24. When he peaks at 27/28 he could be at one of the big boys easily.... With a 20 million profit in the fat mans pocket.

The worst part is most of them are that embedded up the ranks it's impossible to keep on top of, thank god for the ignore button
What is this ignore button of which you speak friend?;) I thought about it for one or two then a reality check reminded me its only an Internet message board. Too much time wasted on here, but what the hell. I choose to ignore the post (and not respond) rather than the poster. Frightened in case I miss owt!

Incredible signing by the mags, really feel sickened seeing them sign a player of such quality. Meanwhile we look like we're being beaten to the signature of Downing by a championship club...

Look mate, if you're going to be an 'undercover' mag on here you really need to raise your game.
The problem is that a quick glance at your posting history shows you're constantly anti SAFC / pro NUFC. Give it up eh?

Truthfully you're a bit of a bore.

Right, Fuck these *****. Let's put this to bed. Reviere, cabella, mbiwa etc, they're all shite, even sissoko couldn't be arsed. At the end of the day, they've got a manager who fucked up an absolute banker to get promotion from a winning position, ended up a mid table team. Not even in the mix. Worried? Shitting it meself, f***ing hell. Take a look at this twat

Quite disrespectful to our current and ex service men. This wouldn't be said in a bar so don't do it on here

Not particularly. I don't tend to pre-judge people depending on what profession they are.

While I obviously respect what the Armed Forces do as a whole day in, day out that doesn't give them any extra rope in how they behave towards me or others.

Some squaddies are utter wankers and I'd tell them to their face and some plumbers are utter wankers and I'd tell them to their face as well.

Rumour has it that the high number of non renewals has caused some alarm at nufc this summer the strategy is a hearts and mind campaign to reconnect with the disaffected and that includes reverting back to the odd trophy signing to getting the sheep back into to the the fold

The possibility of the death of the 53000 screaming Geordies won't help fat mike sell the club ...which is still his long term aim

How often have you seen him play?

Aye, who would have thought putting a decent team together would result in more people coming through the gate.

This will probably get some of the weak-minded fuckwits back but they have a lot more work to do to get the majority's favour again.

It's a reaction to last season which even by your standards degererated into an utter farce ... But it's a strategy which will work. It's always worked in the past to keep the punters sweet
But the real concern is mcclaren who you sense is going to be an easy target if / when things start to go south

I think the more educated know the root cause. McClaren is leagues above The King as a man and any dissension will be firmly trained on Ashley and Charnley.

Especially after Ashley done his interview before the West Ham game taking ultimate responsibility for whatever happens.

Serious point MODS, why is this thread not locked? Less provocative shit is routinely locked for no apparent reason.

There is enough crap on here without a hundred and odd pages of this drivel, which has now gone into full on bullshit mode, can it just be locked?

If the mags signed the lad then fair play, it's going to get f***ing woeful soon.
