I've criticised them publicly for what I considered an imbalance of reporting between the two clubs. Wrote a lengthy article on RR, and did it long after I'd been in the Chronicle for the first time. In fact, even the tweet you quoted from last night was critical of them, since The Chronicle is owned by Mirror Group.

I'm lucky enough to make a living out of covering football/sport now, but that doesn't mean I've just sacked off the people who helped me get there.

Personally I believe it's a good thing we have a true fan writing about us. Might stop some of the bullshit that has been spread in the past happening again.

Couldn't care less if people don't agree with me. Actually would worry I didn't have enough conviction if they did.

Was just correcting Chunky's factual inaccuracy about me personally. Don't see what is wrong with that.
 
Well if it's true then you have to question the handling of transfers. Would it of been a different story if Dick handled it all even just this transfer as he knows him from managing him before. He is the type of player we need, a top quality playmaker and my fear is we are going to have the same shite in midfield and it's another year of struggle, I hope I'm wrong though.

Mate, this is some genuine advice, spend more time editing your articles and less time on here bitching and you'll be a better writer, trust me. You just don't help yourself.

Cheers for the advice. I've never actually stopped trying to be a better writer and don't actually think I'm especially good at it at all. But I'm working on it and have done okay.
