I agree to an extend, and feel people should be patient, but you can't blame people for expecting decent money to be spent. The money earned from staying up each year is huge, so surely it would be advantageous to spend a decent amount with a better chance of survival.

Unfortunately you're probably right all the same. The Sunderland of the last couple of years has done business on the cheap. Hopefully with Advocaat it's different.
