Been given a friends old one. I know the console was largely a flop, but were there any stand out games which I should look to play?

The only game she had was Zelda Legend of The Wind, which was why I wanted it. I have a Switch so preferably not games that have already been ported to that.

All of the first party Wii U games were good to great imo, a lot have been ported to the switch though.

Ports available on other consoles were poor relations unfortunately.

As said, most of the best games were ported to the Switch. Yoshi's Wooly World was canny. Not sure if you had a Wii previously but if you can get a Wii remote and sensor there's some games you could probably pick up fairly cheap from that
