It's entirely down to Wigan. They've done an absolutely amazing job of wasting time since the clock hit about 70 minutes.

Getting foul after foul, getting throw in after throw in and then whenever the ball isn't in play they took 5-10 seconds or more to get to the ball to restart play.

I literally cannot remember having to endure that sort of time wasting in years. Obviously the Sunderland players let them get 1 goal in front, but that wasn't a game of football at the end.

We were terrible, created nothing, never threatened and Wigan managed the game out comfortably.
