I don't think his passing is great, his real benefit to the team is energy, work rate, etc. but he is definitely the most positive of our midfielders on the ball.

I'm not saying he doesn't pass forward, but him passing forward isn't the reason he gives the ball away with simple passes. It's not uncommon to see him smash it out of play passing sideways.
