the probme is the definition of half decet..if your saying the club can only expect a sell out of it comes top ten in the premier league then the stadium is too big. Especially given the 40k average happened with ludicrously cheap tickets..sold below the market rate.
Agree with that too.
I remember about 05 or 06 talk of extending the stadiun further. From a bling and boasting pov it sounds good but I sort of winced at the superfluousness of it. Think we'd be better of knocking down the top tiers and creating a supply and demand situation. 40k was just about right and worked well 98-03

So you agree with my argument, disagree with @---Nemo--- "argument", but you won't @ or directly reply to either of us because you don't want to agree with a "mag"... Childish that.

'Did he? He didn't stay at Oldham and Barnsley very long, meaning the data set isn't great in terms of size to give a definitive, valid answer. I mean when he took over at Barnsley, the club had just been relegated to League One, they were already severely underachieving under Danny Wilson who had them 16th (and that's after being relegated from the Championship in the previous season), could he do any worse? Lee Johnson took Barnsley from 16th to 11th (from Feb 2015 to May 2015) and then in the 15/16 season he left them in 12th position (Feb 2016) before Paul Heckingbottom took over and actually got them promoted IN THAT SAME SEASON. You could argue Lee Johnson held them back.'
😂

A successful SAFC needs a bigger ground than a 40k capacity one.

We are a 3rd division side. Nothing more.

We need to stop being deluded and banging on about being a big club.

We have a rich history but that’s what it is ... history.

If and when we get out of league 1 then we could start thinking about a return to the big time.

well i think your right about that..but the narrative on here, which is one I have sympathy with, is that donakd just wanted a uick profit...so he wouldnt need to be foreced to sell if offered the cash? so why hasnt he been offered the cash?
Because He has an ego the size of the planet and He and salmon pants hope KLD will move the club up the divisions and they will cling onto the coattails and will be hob nobbing in premiership boardrooms for very little outlay and salmon pants will be in networking nirvana.Plus of course He wants to maximise the prophets from whatever shares he has left( even now ne bugger knows how many that is)

but holding on now is costing him money..he has to put cash in alkongside kld if he wants to stick around..

but youranswer implies he isnt here for a quick profit but rther for long term gain

He would sell his granny if he could he wanted a championship price but failed.....always thought he would try to keep a small salmon pants sized portion just for the networking opportunities.
