Who's still backing Moyes?

Central midfield. Played there for NI in the Euros.

Never seen him play before then if honest.

My favoured position is up front but I can't score goals to save my life, so I have to play in defence.

Most info suggests he played midfielder as a kid but as a professional is a central defender who can do a job in midfield if asked.

I appreciate some fans will be getting restless regarding Moyes but i ask myself what replacement would we bring in.

There has been times where I can see Moyes doing a good job but Saturday dented that feeling significantly, I don't think we will ever make progress as a club if we bin a manager like Moyes at this stage, I'm happy to be patient and trust my instinct that I think if Moyes is given long term backing here, he will be a success.
Not sure about the "happy" to be patient, but I think it's necessary for people to at least try. The club is fucked from top to bottom now and there is no quick fix to it. Someone needs time to sort it out and in moyes, we have a man with experience who done that with Everton. No point in changing again imo, in fact it would be stupid to do so now.

I wish people would stop keeping on about allardyce. He's gone, and get behind Moyes.

Who by the way isn't going anywhere.

Pretty much the way I see our situation, this season has been on the cards for years and our injury crisis has rubber stamped the inevitable. Root and branch now and Moyes at the very least has a track record in this respect.

There needs to be a rule brought in that a manager should be given a minimum of 3 years in a job before he can be sacked. If an owner appoints someone then he should live and die by his appointment.

Idiots on here asking for another sacking after 6 months.

It is clear we all agree on the reasons Moyes has had a difficult job here. They are all negatives, so lets put them to one side and look at the positives he has done since he walked through the door at the SoL. Not what he did at other clubs in the past, what has he done that has been good?

Is it his eye for a player? Has he got the players well drilled and organised, so that we cover players out of position and do not make basic mistakes like leave people unmarked in open play, at free kicks and corners? Has he got them fired up and fighting for every ball? Are there any players who he is really bringing out the best of? Is it his tactics? Has he clearly done his homework on the opposition and set us up to stifle their attacks or exploit the weaknesses in their side? Is it his changes during the games, either formations or subs, that can change a game or get us off the back foot a little? He has still has strong backing from a number of fans on here, so what we can really point to and say "results are not going our way, which has got us all down on the club, but look at blah blah and the improvement he has made there.", in order to convince those who have doubts?

We'd have been relegated years ago if that was the case.

And promoted again

I don't. The bloke has backed every manager who has been here. He backed Moyes in the summer.

Blocking deals, only sanctioning deal on tic, giving him about twenty million when we needed ten players. Oh aye, he's been an absolute dream.

His stupid way of doing things has fucked us royally, skint as we still paying for players who are long gone.

Short
