Aye I still agree with @Hep on a lot of this. There'll be bits I don't understand but, for me, KLD will know about how much money is due and how much was in the bank and that would have determined the price he'd offer and how much of the club he expected for it. For me that sorts the parachute payment stuff. If Donald paid £20m in, the club would have been worth £20m more and he'd have got more money for the shares he sold. I was annoyed that he took the money out of the club and we effectively had to wait for him to drip feed it in, but now the majority of the shares (presumably!) have been sold I don't see it as a major issue. I'm a lot more concerned about the future ambitions and plans than I am about the past tbh, hopefully there's room to show some genuine ambition in January (and if it means investing money that squeezes Donald out then even better)
If Donald and Methven had been upfront with it in the beginning there wouldn't have been such an issue. Peoole however, would have had concerns they couldn't fund/support the club going forward and there actions with the cost cutting, academy stuff etc would have added weight to that.
Instead though, they lied through their teeth from day one and throughout their entire tenure, including an orchestrated divide and conquer smear campaign on the fan base to distract, and even going so far at one point to announce they would sue a newspaper for releasing the info (although even that was hilarious as they were more bothered about the paper being 3 million out rather than the accusations they made).
It should not be forgotten about as long as they are here particlarly with at least one them them swanning around at games, on the board and still travelling on club business.
