WMS Who Owns Sunderland AFC?

True colours being shown now with this shite allied to the fact you’ve never been to Sunderland to watch a game.

One minute you purposely misspell most of your posts, then when it suits you spell perfectly.

You know full well you are a constant irritation and it’s clear you enjoy it. Any chance of a ban mods for this sly, deceptive piece of work?
Yep, time for a permanent ban

Are there any minutes yet or is it still hep and Kildare stinking the thread up

Hep isn't stinking up the thread, he is correctly pointing out that whilst we might think of ourselves as fans, we are actually customers. As such we have no rights to as to dictate how the club is run, all we can do is withhold our custom if we don't like what being offed to us. The way business works can't be suspended for football.

We might like to know who owns the club, but whoever it is we can't do anything about it. Anyone who thinks differently hasn't been watching what's been going on up the road for more than a decade, and of course their fans had a big say in who the new owners were, didn't they. In League 1 fans are important as there is very little TV money and other outside income. When we get to the Premier League we almost become an irrelevance, as matchday income is a very small part of the income stream of the club, especially teams like Sunderland who cannot charge what London clubs do. Our main job will be to provide "atmosphere" in the ground for all the live steam buyers in the far east and elsewhere.

The other thing this place needs to get it's head round is that the 200, or whatever the number of regular contributors on this forum is, it is a tiny percentage of the people who support the club. And they don't give a shit, they don't want to know the ins and outs of a gnat's arsehole, they just want to watch football, the rest just does not interest them. Reference:- them up the road again.

I think the vast majority of campaigns against owners have little or no effect. "Cowie Out" "Red Cards" and so on. Not to mention all the protests up at the landfill that just embarrassed their fans.

Should we have a pretend victor in a Sunderland strip giving last rites to a coffin??

You may as well go and shout at the sea.
The red card protest influenced the decision to sack the hapless Mick Buxton and Peter Reid was appointed and we stayed up and has one of our best post war spells under his management.

but "better terms" is defined by short as the owner...by SBC as the creditor and by the league. Im sure the last one wouldnt have been an issue but the best offer short got was the one he accepted. And others wanted to port the debt, which is what a real asset stripper would do.
Again and again, you know this because, oh wise one

Well the official fans representative group, the RAWA, do care about the ownership because they’ve asked the question more than once.

Protests, as I’ve already pointed out earlier, can be very impactful and have been at our club in the past. I don’t accept the notion that fans can ‘do nothing’ about issues RE ownership. They can and, if and when necessary, they should.

wage bill is a sign of the owners commitment-not geerating the cash to pay the wage bill by not selling out the ground in the premier league is a sign of the fans not doing there bit

Keep digging, Dunce.
You are a f***ing idiot. @Roger or the mods really need to get shot of you once and for all, as you’re genuinely ruining threads with your lies and belittling of our club.

Totally correct when Rawa made the statement last time about Donald’s ownership , it was in the top 5 tweets in the country that day.

Ignore him @Ghandi Floss he’s really not worth it, it’s Charlie as we all know, a very sad human being.

I think the main problem with the poster in question is that they’re indulged by other posters on here and it feeds into the persona.

I think it’s quite useful to see their posts. Take them with a pinch of salt and nowts a bother. It’s just a forum

dothat every year the losses would have been less each year
short did cut costs..he did so dramatically..just very very incompetently..but not selling out the season after a 10th place finish reflects badly on the fan base not the owner, lots of other things reflect badly on the owner.

Not selling out after finishing TENTH. 10th? Read that back. 10th.

Didn’t we only achieve that final day after meekly going out of the cups?

Did we sell Bent that January as well?

Just because you don’t like what he says you want to create an echo chamber.
