WMS Who Owns Sunderland AFC?

The Madr part of Madrid. We ended up with the Ox.

There was that and another iirc. Donald is meant to have fucked over the Madr part of the group which is why its now just the Ox part here. They were up against another group at the time (Confirmed by Short iirc) . Ultimately Short getting a better deal with Donald agreeing to give him the parachute payments (while telling us all he would do the opposite) sealed the deal.

Did you do your bit? Youve never even been to the sol you gonk
ive put club merchandise which is a very small bit indeed, but something

not just the fans no..but the fans not paying enough to the club forwhat they recieve is part of it..
So price hiking the tickets so we pay more for poorer quality would sort things? More likely to turn fans away, it isn't the fault of the fans. I have just seen the tickets for Ipswich are £15.

I get a bit tired of the way you get pilloried on here, think you can be interesting, and you always entertain with your random typing, but blaming the fans who have remained loyal in the face of awful football, lies, egregious insults from Methven and continued obfuscation when it comes to explaining how we are run, is way off.

i dont blame fans for anything under donald etc.

fans in league one have been eceptional

I think the vast majority of campaigns against owners have little or no effect. "Cowie Out" "Red Cards" and so on. Not to mention all the protests up at the landfill that just embarrassed their fans.

Should we have a pretend victor in a Sunderland strip giving last rites to a coffin??

You may as well go and shout at the sea.

I could just as easily point to the Murray protests in 2006 that saw the club sold to Quinn and Drumaville weeks later and the co-ordinated Donald out campaign that saw (we think) him move away from the frontline at the club. Plenty other clubs up and down the land have coordinated and forced the hands of owners too.

wage bill is a sign of the owners commitment-not geerating the cash to pay the wage bill by not selling out the ground in the premier league is a sign of the fans not doing there bit
So it was the fans fault we didn't cash in on Kone ?

The fans fault we bought N'Dong instead of the cheaper and better option of M'Vila ?

Aye, right

there are lots of profitable clubs who generate enough from revenues, including ticket sales, to pay for the costof the club. Chelsea made a profit in their last accounts, abramavhich took a payment of £4.4m and they still won the champions league the next season. Man utd are very profitable. six league one clubs made a profit in the year pre pandemic...

You can't try and compare our potential income from revenues to Chelsea surely?
I would guess our fans give a higher percentage of their income to their club than Chelsea fans do, but we will always be miles away from clubs like that.

I can't figure you out. Sometimes you make some valid points and make them well. Then other times you come across, let's just say not so we'll.

Yep from the few details out there, the Ox part thought it could go it alone. Look where that got our club.

Oh and Kildare Charlie go and bore another forum. Maybe Oxford if they'll have you again?

Revenues are worthless if they aren't spent right regardless.

We always have been, in all divisions. Other posters have mentioned the economics faced by many in the region and that does have an impact on pricing variation in higher divisions. Modern football finances aren't decided by matchday attendance - a genuine issue for the game, which largely lives beyond its neans. The financial problems at the club, as others have said, lie in mismanagement - Alvarez was mentioned, but the whole Johnson disgrace illustrates the incompetencies. Various snake oil salesmen have spent money with no knowledge, De Fanti at the top of the list.

It continues- see the ticket office/club shop/card payments mess and the failure to sort out the paperwork for O'Brien to go to Doncaster

When these things, big and small, are dealt with competently we might resemble a professional football club again. There are better organised club admin structures in non league football.

Take a breath between your posts man, your other points are lost because you typed things that put blame on fans when the real problems we have had are caused elsewhere ;)

Hahaha. What on earth are you prattling on about?!
How the fuck can fans make football clubs ‘loss making’?
It’s up to owners to cut their cloth accordingly. There are plenty Premier League clubs making a loss. Is it the fault of the supporters for not buying enough pies and club keyrings?
Shop’s never open long enough for people to buy key rings 😉
Do we know who owns it yet?
No one ! We are drifting aimlessly in a sea of apathy ……………………..and the shop’s shut

True colours being shown now with this shite allied to the fact you’ve never been to Sunderland to watch a game.

One minute you purposely misspell most of your posts, then when it suits you spell perfectly.

You know full well you are a constant irritation and it’s clear you enjoy it. Any chance of a ban mods for this sly, deceptive piece of work?
