Aye we don't know anything yet nearly a year on. I'm just going off Grumps saying Mercator will own us. Admittedly I thought Madrox had been sacked off.

All this could have been put to bed the day the takeover was completed though but someone chose not to so we are all left trying to guess why.

i agree with this...my point is its KLDs reponsibility..not donald or methvens to file the paperwork..

they wanted to sell..she borrowed about a billion to buy them out..but paid a top top price as the valuation was pre agreed...
when she went to sell on some of the shares..she seems to have got a lot less than she paid. and also sold off some very profitable business units..leaving a debt of about $400m...which she refinanced at the start of 2021...the payment is due this week.

My contention is that the rest of the louis dreyfus family have the money.she has the company,,which is not the force it was. KLD has money from trust funds etc but would be let his mother get into that sort of debt..if he had 2 billion kicking around doing nowt?

The money's in trust for him under the terms of Robert's will. He can't do anything with it without the consent of his trustees.

presumably he has the icnome from it to do as he wishes? but not the capital? the income would still be very substantial mind.
But if the trustees wouldnt let him have the cash to invest in a good business liek the family one,..woukd they let him have to invest in a shit entity like safc?

It is only a shit entity if managed badly, SD knew he could make a killing off SAFC just he could not manage it correctly.
Sheff Utd went from D1 to the Premier, imagine our valuation if KLD can do that?

Wouldn’t surprise me if they’re still making things more difficult behind the scenes for KLD than he expected. I’ve certainly got a lot more faith in what he seems to be trying to achieve, but would have even more without the lying frauds still hanging around.
 
The moment we knew the Three Stooges still had a substantial shareholding it should have been clear that KLD was going to invest very little otherwise he would have just taken 100% control.

From what I can see all KLDs money has done is made sure the three of them don't have to repay the parachute payments. It's an absolute disgrace to be fair.
 
As I said at the start of all of this, having those three dead weights still attached to the football club they took to its lowest ebb and almost ruined, was a disaster.

It’s a good article and asks real questions. I mean wtf was Methven even doing in a photograph in South America. The club is rotten whilst they are still attached.

we couldnt make a penny of profit in the prem. neither could sheff utd by the way..of course safc is a much better business than it looks after being mis managed for more than a decade..but football is a lousy business (klds own words) unless you get it very right..can KLD do that?maybe..but to do it in a profitable way will mean him testing the faith of supporters who are under the impression he is a billiaonire

Maybe they still owe it and KLD is pissed off that they haven’t yet cleared their debt.

they dont owe it in the legal sense...ie its not enforceable and non of KLDs bsuiness. they did owe the dell money but have repaid that...that £9m plus the 4.5m they put in takes the total to £13.5m

Let’s see what comes out. lots of people know staff at the club, and lots of us will have heard stuff recently so I’m please to see the WMS article as it asks lots of pertinent questions along those lines

most of the questions asked in the article have been asked repeatedly on here...but that doesnt diminish the value of asking them again.
