I know the wait is frustrating, but we have to remain calm and see what develops. You never know, we may be pleasantly surprised 😁

The current "model" is what totally restricts anyone with a reputation or stature in the game taking the position. Go in, do something with low experience kids and very little chance of bringing what you need. Plus whatever salary is on offer is questionable. So getting anyone reputable is massively doubtful - i.e. back to the lower end or without a job to see who can be brought in.

That is something I am very good at.

Though I did hear somewhere I am sure Alex Rae was rumoured to be in the running but again I believe nothing the papers or any other area of the press and media say about anything.
 
Probably have no intention to appoint anyone. Just waiting for Dodds to win a friendly at South Sheild to claim that last season was the learning curve he needed and he is the man to take us into the 2024 25 to stabilise the team for a mid table finish

Nee way is this true. I'm 57 and we've been getting turned down by managers since I was in infant school.

Nobody with any self worth will work with these clowns unless they overpay and they not going to do that are they?They have dug themselves into such a big hole and our reputation is so shot that i fear for the club as a footbalkling entity!The only way out of this is to overpay some unknown foreign coach or employ someone who has been affiliated with the club in the past and is desperate for a chance...alex rae ,robinson,super kev,but even then i doubt they would want to be part of our circus or have anything to do with the ringmaster speakman!

We have that is true!but usually this is before any interview ..i doubt we have been turned down by so many once they have shown interest themselves but have seen behind the curtain and have ran for the hills!Its a subtle difference we are a decent enough championship side and on the surface an attractive option to be a coach at but something is stopping people from signing on .we are not going for the klops of this world we are looking at the championship level manager and there are many decent options out there but yet we fail again and again!I wonder why? ;)
