dont go to Quayside- cooks in veg oil. dont go to Papas- uses defrost cheap fish.
i would go to the Magpie or Trenchers for a one - off visit but most are good.

Magpie is the one most people go to, Mister Chips on the south/east side of the swing bridge is also good and award winning iirc.

This ^^^ it’s took our lass (no)25 year to get me to go in there and it didn’t disappoint
