I've bought far too much recently, but just wanted your opinions on delivery.

Obviously it's nudging £100 for 'free' delivery, however:

The Whisky Exchange delivered in less than 24hrs, with the free delivery option

Master of Malt, next day free delivery

Tyndrum, 24hr parcelforce free delivery

Whiskybroker £9 delivery, UPS 3 days

Waitrose Cellar, £5.95 delivery, yodel allegedly delivering tomorrow day 6.

Who's your favourite/nemesis for delivery :neutral:

Try where possible to use MoM…Was wanting another bottle of the NS 10 blend so aye it’s not exactly “free delivery “ :lol:
but aye certain delivery charges can grate

Mom delivery is excellent ordered 3 loch lo mand's on there 3 for 2 offer
at 5.30 pm Wednesday delivered yesterday by 11am .
Some places charging 14.95 for royal mail first class signed delivery now.

Normally select Dpd my self but forgot to change the option on preferred delivery so it automatically goes to Evri. Both our local delivery drivers for Dpd and Evri are first class same with the postman who's a great lad.
 
My mate got me a bottle of Jura bourbon cask to help aid my revovery from an op :lol: any good? Be trying this tonight me thinks. He doesnt drink whisky at all so will have no idea what he's bought, i drink whisky all the time but i freely admit i have no idea what is good and what isnt!

Well it’s a nice gesture and all that but not a very nice Whisky. If you’ve got other stuff in the house quite likely to be better than the core Jura bottles

Day 6 waiting for Yodel to deliver. Still at their depot so it won't be today either.

At this stage I'm not sure whether I paid the £5.95 for delivery or storage :neutral:
 
Save yourselves the hassle of incompetent couriers, move to the West Highland's! :D As long as you can adapt to the isolation and hideously shit weather you'll be absolutely fine! 😫

it is a shame they do have some nice stuff but you have to go up the range to get it, the 18 year old is a fair price, but the chill filtering and low abv of their core range ruins them

I never get the same DPD driver twice these days. Our Evri bloke is decent as well.

Yeah it doesnt really taste of much. Mind i had a Johnnie red label before so taste buds are burnt :)
 
Stayed at Moritt hotel at Greta Bridge, last weekend and tried Oban 14 in the hotel bar, after a dalwhinnie 15 and I’ve now ordered a bottle of Oban 14, prob fave I’ve tried alongside Aberlour A’bunadh.
 
Dinosaur Jr - limited edition whiskey,
A mix of 8 Year Old Corn Whiskey, 6 Year Old Bourbon, and 2 Year Old Bourbons from Kentucky, all finished in Toasted Barrels.
