Whisky

Still never been to Campbeltown…really must make the effort sometime.

Just seems a ball ache of a drive
Go via Arran:
Ardrossan to Brodick ferry
Lagg Distillery
Lochranza Distillery
Lochranza to Claonaig ferry
Springbank/Glengyle Distillery
Glen Scotia Distillery
Cadenheads Shop

Gives you the opportunity to spend even more money as I found to my cost :D

Anything left in your wallet don't forget to hop over to Islay whilst on the Kintyre Peninsula ;)

We’re all bone idle and even argue about who will take the car to Ocean Road

Must have watched hundreds if not thousands of online whisky reviews over the years and thought I’d heard every possible descriptor of nosing whisky…. But this one is definitely unique

Unless the CalMac ferry is knackered which happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Got to Ardrossan then had to drive around.
Go via Gourock on Western Ferries to Dunoon, then head from Dunoon to Portavadie and get CalMac to Tarbert next time.

Although I don't mind the drive round myself, once you cross the Erskin Bridge it's a really nice drive after that

Isle of Harris put their first release on sale online this morning, priced at £65. Sold out fairly quickly, very good marketing

Is the Cadenheads delivery charge always £10? I want to order a bottle but it's a bit steep for delivery

a bit of a bugbear of mine( not just Cadenheads) but the delivery costs can vary massively.
Some clearly making extra money from charging above costs incurred.

Not that it will help with Cadenheads but the Master of Malt prime ( there are other similar deals) means I get free next day delivery for a yearly £20 charge. I do buy from many other places online, but always compare to MoM first
