Leicester.

I don’t envy the “big six” in the slightest, because they’ve all just bought their way to “success”. That’s not an achievement as far as I’m concerned. They’re just play things for rich people. There’s no magic in it.

Leicester’s league winning season though? Out of nowhere? I can’t even begin to imagine how f***ing magic that must have been for their supporters. If we had the chance to experience that, I wouldn’t swap it for ten champions leagues supporting the likes of Man City or Chelsea.

None being totally honest. I admire the way several are run and have overachieved, but… none have the heart and soul of the club that I’ve supported for almost 50 years, and that’s what counts for me. Our cup run in 2014, all the games I’ve seen us lose, all the Wembley pain, and that weekend in May are all worth more than any trophies that Liverpool, City, Utd, Chelsea have won, or Newcastle may win in the future. So why would I be jealous of them. For 4 or 5 years in the late 70’s I was jealous that Forest had Cloughie, but it soon passed.
