Where is the best cricket tea

Anybody play in the Bradford or Airedale/Wharfedale leagues? Ilkley always had good teas but the price was extortionate (per item). I used to play for Calverley and their teas were usually very good.

Big buffets at set prices were always the way to go.

Do players pay for Tea nowadays? Was always free when I played.

Sure it was only a £1 when I was playing in the senior league early 90's, Wearmouth always done a cracking team back then. Horden's were shite

Yep, played in Bradford central league for 4 years whilst at Uni. I was priced out of the tea market.

ohhh yes!! its awful, i always love fielding first just cos i know i bat down the order so i can have a big tea, although this season it doesnt matter where i bat, im usually in pretty early

what does yours consist of?

Belmont has probably been our best away tea this year. Ours is canny

I agree - but then I'm biased as I play for them......
Who do you play for?

We score everyone else's tea out of 100 - been some shockers this year!

Lad plays for Houghton.

I noticed the "tea league" when we were there. Must be shit if you see yourself bottom.
