It was a great night due to the fact we saved ourselves and the Mags went down but to say we would have beaten anyone is a bit extreme. Everton couldn't wait to see the back of Martinez and their players performances at the end of the season showed that.

Is there any team that we wouldn't have beaten that night?

Not for me, I reckon we'd have steamrolled past anyone. We were never going to drop any points that night

What a night
Yes but we had a proper manager then

We played well once we got going but I can't help but feel our friends from Merseyside did us a favour on the night. What a night to be a lads fan, reminded me of the Chelsea cup game all those years ago.

Everton goaly had a night mare mind which helped greatly

All that optimism soon disappeared

Bastard England & the FA

If we kept that team we would be top 8 now...............15 million on mvilla ,yedlin, and dont sell unice............fuckwits w are like!

I, like everyone else, was so optimistic that we'd push on under Sam with some more quality signings to come. Then Woy and the FA fooked it all up :(

Speaking to an Everton club official on Sunday he told me he knew before kick off we would turn them over.
Just everything about the build up made him feel that way. The atmosphere in and around the ground, the look in our players eyes, etc.
He can't believe how far back we've gone since then, and neither can we!

Broke our lasses foot when Kone smashed in the second  Knew that was the game and the filth gone. Hadn't celebrated like that for a long time

It was an absolutely quality night but it was as much down to Everton being completely disinterested as it was us being good on the night.
Not complaining like. Unbelievable feeling at the full time whistle.

Mannone
Yedlin
Kaboul
Kone
PVA
Borini
Kirchhoff
Catts
M'Vila
Khazri
Defoe

Only us who could manage to go from that to our current team within a few months
