When did you last go and see Durham live?

Nice little ground, joined onto the rugby pitch at Middlesbrough. Found it a bit odd that some of the 2nd team players were wearing Pro 50 shirts of the first team members. Rushy's fatha was in attendance walking what has to be the fittest dog in the region.

Aye, strange one but I think it can only really be down to being on a right budget?? And perhaps not wanting to waste money buying so much kit willy nilly..... That's just me thinking aloud like.

2 weeks ago in the t20. Will be there on Friday v Yorks Vikings. Also got to Day 2 of the LVCC vs Yorks earlier this year.

Kent in an OD game a few years back. I would go more often but I can't be arsed with a 15 hr round trip to CLS.

About 45 years ago. Used to watch them at Chester le Street with my dad.

IIRC (and it was a long time ago) they had some former pro. Ingliss or some such who used to batter the lower league bowling.

How things have changed. Used to love it though.

amen to that. especially now starting on sundays, i would come up for a weekend if i could catch two full ish days of play but for only one [that i'd probably have to leave early and/or get home at 1am]

They should play at more central grounds, probably draw a bit more of a crowd.

They play at Stockton next month and have a game at Marske. Also a few days at Brandon in a few weeks time.

Be interesting to see how many turn up to watch the 1st XI at South North in a few weeks

Do you expect the South North move will attract a large crowd? Or will a lot be put off by the move and poor access?? Lack of parking etc....?

Can't imagine this new Pro 50 will attract many people all round the country given the games are on midweek. It used to be good on a Sunday

The lack of seating seems to be putting a lot of the regulars off. You can take your own seating in but it's getting the seats to the ground that's off putting. The lack of parking means anyone wanting to sit will have to take seats on the bus or metro with them, which a lot are not prepared to do. There doesn't seem to have been a lot of thought gone into it by the club.

How far is the ground from the metro?

Its about time they went to 50 overs to mirror International cricket but why move it from a weekend?

10:30 Wednesday morning starts v Glamorgans reserve team when they're already knocked out, pointless

5 minutes from South Gosforth metro. Loads of pubs on the High Street for lunch interval too.

This! Even though i liked the 40 over idea. 8 is far too few games anarl. Should be at least 10 played from April to June with the knockout stage taking place in July and August.
