What's to do in Sunderland?

what i find strange is for 8 months of the year every other week you visit sunderland but have no idea where to example go for a bite to eat?? do you just goto the games then go home and not stay in sunderland for pint, bite to eat after the game, ever?

I don't.Never have.My first game was probably late 60s early 70s.The only time iv'e had a night out in Sunderland was my stag do,and that was in 1982.Oh and you might find this strange but iv'e NEVER been to Newcastle for a night out.
