Banging

As in 'Bangin' Choons'.

Someone in a meeting asked me to 'socialise' what had been said to the other, non-present, team members. When I asked what they meant, they said "You know. Tell them what's been said." I said, "Why didn't you just say that instead of using a word completely out of context?"

They looked at me like I was the total knacker.

I really dont get talk like that. people dont talk like that outside of work so why confuse matters and have to say what they mean again. im going to look for youtube videos of office speak now, i dont know why as it'll just annoy me 😄

Using the word 'was' instead of 'were'. Seems to be spreading like a virus and makes my eye twitch whenever I hear it.
Also using the word 'were' instead of 'was'.

"I were on my way home".

It's ignorance and laziness and symptomatic of the way so-called 'celebrities' like those f@@king clowns from Essex are influencing the way people speak.

When just about everything is 'epic', like an 'epic session at the gym', 'epic song', 'epic cup of tea'....

We was..
Anything over 100% - I'm gonna give you 124% of my attention. No, you can just give me 100% please.
Salty Potato - what the fuck is that all about?
Choon
People using any form of text speak in anything other than text messages - do u get me?
Bruv, Cuz, Fam

Honey or Hun
Get instead of have
Dropped instead of released
Season instead of series
Like, as in, we went out at like 2 o clock

I'm probably wrong, but I always thought there was a difference between season and series. I always thought a season of something was when it was like 24 or breaking bad, something that has a story line so you had to watch each episode in order. I'd count a series as being something like, I don't know, a Rick Stein cookery series where he travels Italy, where you can watch the last one first, or just watch random episodes, and it doesn't mean you can't follow it
