How about being bowled out for 15 in its first innings, then winning the match by 155 runs? Or the World Cup match where the came back from the dead with a last wicket stand?

I believe that Yorkshire's recent win over Derbyshire was the first time a first class county had beaten another by an innings + after the losers had scored over 450 in their first innings. 8-)

Interesting. It sounds likely given that in the 3-day match era it would have been quite difficult to achieve, but where did you hear this? Did somebody trawl through 125 seasons' results?
