I did exactly that 35-plus years ago at Gateshead Stadium, we were level at 1 all with a couple of minutes left, and the next 2 teams up were behind my goal, I was only playing in goal because I had torn ankle ligaments.

Flowers bent down to smother a Collymores timid shot and the ball came up off the divot and went over his head if memory serves me right

All Carson had to do in the end was punch the ball away in the box instead of trying to boot it, then no penalty...rush of blood for him there.
