We've forgotten the formula that got us mid table

I think the season has got to the point where RLB is experimenting with trying to be more attacking and they've forgotten the formula that was working. He hasn't got the personnel for that.

This is what was working imho;

Player selection - round pegs in round holes
Mentality - Try not to get beat, eke out wins
Style - Don't compete on quality of football, compete on mentality
Pressing - Rigid selective pressing
Substitutions - Highly tactical
Tactics - React quickly to opponent formation
Safety - Get the ball forward don't dally
Wing play - play at least 1 winger. We lack wingers, so why is Talbi not nailed on to start?

Was so obvious yesterday they were avoiding Mukiele, targeting Hume and ove-running midfield with an extra man.

RLB is a great manager but now dogmatic for some reason, whereas earlier he was pragmatic? I suspect this is the reason for the rumour and probable behind close door convos.

how did they Hume was starting ?
 
Everyone on here was saying now we are safe RLB should be experimenting into how we can play more attacking football. Then when that doesn’t work, we should be more defensive again?

No sugarcoating last night, but I think we were not at it 100% and the Pl punishes you when you aren’t.
