Do they have the most negative batting line up of all time?

Kraigg Brathwaite's only two scoring shots are the nudge off his hips and the edge through the slips. Chanderpaul in now. Aussies must be sick of their lives here :-)

Sammy's 41 off 36 wasn't very negative, and Chris Gayle is apparently going to start playing for them again once he stops fannying around in the IPL.

Too often recently (with the exception of Chanderpaul) West Indies batsmen get into the test side and play reckless shots, coming in and driving at balls swinging away from them etc. Good to see that they are applying themselves and playing test match innings although they need to be careful that they don't end up going too far the other way

they need to start with the basics. set yourself to bat for two day, put 500 on the board and you will win far more than you lose

I thoroughly enjoy watching Chanderpaul bat. Love the way he totally frustrates bowlers. Slightly selfish at time likes but still.....

Cant remember who it was but someone down the order was certainly entertaining when he smacked the spinner for three 4s from four balls.

Exactly, like building on a solid defence in football. They can worrying about how to win when they've worked out how to avoid being rolled over in a few days.

They missed a bit of luck early in the fourth innings mind.

Haven't seen any of it, but not being able to finish off the last couple of partnerships in the first innings and last night's mini-collapse are the kind of things that have happened to them too often recently.

Actually it's probably been happening for too long now to refer to it as recently.
