West Ham or Spurs…

Spurs
Years ago living dahn sarf l took two nephews, 6 and 8 yo, to their first ever match. The eldest had been pestering for a while. Spurs v Stoke in an end of season nothing to play for match. But Hoddle was playing so...why not.

As we came out we were caught between rival supporters and the Spurs fans were throwing all sorts, half bricks, cans
bottles. Im just crouching over these kids protecting them as best l could. We werent wearing colours obviously, we could have easily been Spud fans. Meant nothing. The kids really frightened, vulnerable.
Never had much regard for them since. Shame as the first match l ever went to was Sunlun v Spurs in 61? in the Cup.Had had a soft spot for them until then.
Fans that day were animals.

Spurs . Only because they drag out that bloody awful song . "OH wheeenn the spuurrrrs---- go marchiinng innnn" deserves demotion

Look at Leeds MARCHING..... ON........ TOGETHER. Thats why they will miss the drop imo.

Thats not even their worse one.
That super Tottenham from the loyn, is an absolute tuneless dirge

It’s a funny one this season, it could be another decade before 2 promoted teams survive and bar Spurs with their enormous revenues we could have a few years where all 3 promoted clubs repeatedly get relegated, that’s why West Ham have suffered because they were lulled into a false sense of security believing they can get away with poor squad investment knowing the gap between the divisions gets wider every year.

As bad as it could be for spurs getting relegated financially they’ll still have an incredible revenue that will get them promoted quickly and back to competing if they sort themselves out at the top which they will eventually. West Ham you can possibly see them imploding and doing a Leicester/us, there’s a lot discontent between the fans and owners, the stadium is shite, the training ground is shite and making huge losses.

A while ago I would have said West Ham by a country mile. Horrible club who would be absolutely nothing without being London based and the media love in. Now I’ve edged towards Spurs just because it would be comical. From thinking they’d be part of a breakaway European league to championship would be tremendously funny

I'm not sure if it's heard lately but they use to chant Yid'army Yid'army which even at the time I thought was bad and a reverse racism, bit like black Americans by meeting themselves with 'hey nigga' 😱

Spurs can call themselves Yids but anyone else and it's anti-Semitism 🤔

So Spurs down for me 😱

West Ham needed to win at Palace on Monday really.
Although if Wolves beat Spurs then the dream could be coming true.

Saturday is huge especially with both playing at the same time (West Ham home to Everton, Davey away to Wolves).

The bookies have Spurs slightly ahead to go down, but there's not a great deal between them. Both either side of evens.

spurs

west ham are in financial trouble anyway, so they will be less of a threat if they stay up, fans hate the ownership so its not a happy camp

Spurs

Mostly because all of last and this season they’ve had the mentality of “we’re too big to go down” so they’ve half arsed it expecting things to miraculously get better.

And for how they acted when we beat them up here. Calling the match a conspiracy and their club not releasing a statement condemning the racist abuse Brobbey got… hope they enjoy the Championship.
