West Ham greedy 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Impression I get is theyve only brought the matter up after huge complaints from fans after the first game. Surely they knew what the prices were going to be before the first game, did they not think of doing anything about it then?

Theyre getting a load of stick from fans coupled with the fact they’re not profiting themselves from the high prices means they’ve done something about it.

Epensives drinks in Stadiums are bad enough but the pints also are flat and taste like piss.

It's absurb tbf.

Problem is most people go the match, stadium/arena gigs, festivals, outdoor sporting events (F1 etc.) and will happily pay £6 upwards for a pint of not even cold, or flat, or both godawful carling, coors, carlsberg, tuborg or whatever else **** is there since they're already having a good time and just choose to overlook it or whatever.

Would be full on riots / a total boycott of buying drinks in many other countries if big events were the same beer quality wise and price wise.

Was at the F1 in Budapest 2 weeks ago, Heineken at the track (albeit in a plastic cup but was ice cold and fairly crisp, as much as I think it's a bland beer - being one of F1s main sponsors and so it was the only pint on draught, it was more than passable) was only £2.80 a pint when converted!

Edit - in a bast**d plastic cup anarl!

£7.30's on the cheap side for London venues already, surely.

The price of water/soft drinks etc. at the ground is disgusting but you're not far off.

Checking C/C statement, recently paid per pint:

£5.80 (Peroni - free house near Farringdon)
£5.15 (Stella - Wetherspoons, also Farringdon)
£6.85 (Peroni - Fuller's, chain of pubs in the City)
£6.15 (Peroni, free house in the City)

Not exactly a huge 'arena/ground' uplift in comparison. Newcastle's nearly £6 a pint for premium stuff these days.

Not bad, but imagine how bad it would be if you drank proper beer.
