We’re you just agreeing with Billy Idiot earlier?:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
Lads in utter moron.

Two things to remember:

1) That wasn't a full strength squad
2) The team hasn't gelled and settled yet

And yet we still shown a completely new spirit and sense of determination which fought back into a game in a way the old side couldn't never have done.

This is going to be an exciting season and I've every bit of faith in the club's leadership to take us forwards :)
Yep, and wins like this will build confidence and momentum

Lets not forget that was basically charltons 2nd team with horrific amount of injuries. plenty of reserves. closer to safcs first xi than cafcs.

let's not forget that we had maybe 4 players who had played any decent amount of games together along with a 16 year old lad in the middle, this was not even our first team for the pre-season games while charlton still had a core of players from a promotion chasing side.

let's also not forget the point of the OP which was to say that the team showed some fighting spirit and will improve.

i do not usually get into the name calling on here but you are fast turning into the first one i shall ever put on ignore, if you can never find positive things to say then please do not bother.

Spot on !!

They keep banging on about how little we mean to them yet we win a match and they’re crawling all over this place banging on about our performance

There were 2 of them in our pub who's arses dropped when I asked them why they didn't applaud that great winning goal.

They walked out without a second glance ..... cowards everywhere they go.

It wasn’t Charlton’s either. First win, long way to go....

I'd expect McGeouch & Wyke to be two of our best players, so obviously those two back will be a big boost.

I would look at centre-back as a potential weakness, hopefully Baldwin can be the answer there. And Maja needs support up front, he's not a lone frontman. Obviously Wyke will be expected to be the main man when he's available.

Shouldn’t ban him cos I enjoy reading his quality entertainment.

Didn’t think the day could get any better.

This is what the thickos don't understand isn't it.

I'd had a great day with the lads, watching the game, and celebrating in the pub.

I get home and think the laughs are over ..... then they come on here and the laughs start all over again.

They really are the club that never stop giving
