Aye but they wouldn't let Billy the Trumpet in and then proceeded to kill Jerusalem. So for that, fuck off Notts.
 
When I was 13(20 now) we went to the ground to go to the club shop. And asked a man who worked there think he was probably part of the groundsmans staff for directions. He then proceeded to give us a full tour of the ground going absolutely everywhere for free of charge. Was superb 8-)

I'm guessing how old I was, but I think it may have been the 2005 ashes as we were on holiday at sherwood forest centre parcs and I remember it being the day that jones and freddy put on a canny partnership with the bat as was listening on the radio in the car.

Although may be completely wrong on it being that year.

Regardless the bloke who showed us round named robin was an absolute legend and a top bloke.

First place I watched Test cricket - England v the Convicts in 1977, Sir Geoffrey's comeback game. Still the best ground in terms of location, atmosphere and facilities I've been to.

Depends what kind of atmosphere you want. For sheer noise Id say Headingley is better.

But overall I find Trent Bridge the best still. (There is a big walk way between the upper and lower of one of the stands, which becamse an unoffical terrace when we were down for the India test - it was bouncing when Broad got his hattrick 8-))
