Great knock from Stokes, one of the few positives for England this summer. Time to give some other younguns a chance.

quite possibly aye. well done ben, cracking performance from the lad, hope he can go on to complete his century and go from strength to strength.

mad to think he's close to having the highest score so far, possibly the first centurion, he's also bowled faster than anyone and probably taking wickets and bowling economy around the same as any others.

good lad. lucky for us we seem to have a perfect replacement for him in usman arshad - until he gets called up anarl
 
When we lose this, lets get Ballance and Bairstow in. I'd get Finn in also.
 
Remember his first game for Durham at The Riverside. When he didnt make 100 instantly the members slagged him off. "He'll never make it" was the common consensus! :lol:

With the matches he has played already for England in the past 5 months he will automatically receive an incrumental central contract, but if he cements his place in the test and one day side during the rest of the winter i would imagine he will receive a full contact for the start of our summer. If that happens and Benks does not return i would have thought Durham would have to sign an overseas player.
