WELCOME TO SUNDERLAND...

The iconic lettering at the back of the Fulwell live long in my memory.
What are the chances of reuniting all of the original letters and putting them along the back of the south or east stand?... it'd look class like.
Given our home form we don't need a sign. Away sides already feel more than welcome sadly.

We also need to start looking to the future. Any additions to the ground should be upgrades not reminders of Roker.

It was iconic at the time but that lettering would look awful anywhere on the Stadium of Light.
The club perhaps missed a trick in not incorporating the Roker main stand Leitch latticework into the SoL's superstructure when it was built. That could have looked superb...rather than a small section of it slowly deteriorating in the Main Stand car park.

Pompey have done great job of incorporating their latticework on redevelopment of fratton , this and welcome to Sunderland at sol would be great

Jesus, might as well just re-build roker park and step back into the 80’s the way people go on about re-creating the olden days

Bring back Hummel tops and pissing against a brick wall for a toilet n all
The amount of people who can’t read exit and entry to a toilet need to be made to piss themselves not on a wall. A wall is too good for them.
I love the welcome to Sunderland, but it’s been and had its day. It’s something that is better as a memory than it actually would be in reality

It would cost money, and probably falls under the remit of “I’ll look into it” or a mag the club employ. Therefore, no chance

They wouldn’t pay for a net to stop missiles and flares raining down on the north stand ffs

People are forgetting any improvements for atmosphere, aesthetics or safety in the ground would cost money. This doesn't fit into the Sunderland sustainability model and they won't spend the money. This was evident in the away fan debacle.

The club will spend fuck all for the supporters experience. (I'm not complaining about on the pitch mind tho)
