Weight Routine to aid weight loss

Can anyone point me in the right direction of a routine that will aid my weight loss?

Looking to add weights in on the days i am not running and been a novice i aint got a clue where to start.
 


how many days are you running? Which days would you be doing wieghts on?
and what equipment you got mate? You a member of gym or owt?
 
I try to run every other day so looking at doing weights on the days im not running (not sure if it would make a difference)

Equipment wise just a 25kg weight set from Argos at the moment no gym membership but hoping to have one sorted in next few weeks.
