Lack of action this week lads?

WCC firsts lost to East Rainton yesterday, slightly annoying as we'd hit a run and weren't that far behind Littletown. Who, to their credit, appear to be hitting their straps at first team level and look a good bet to win the league now.

Seconds had no game yesterday due to the folding of Bearpark but had a decent victory at home to Kibblesworth today. They made 143/5 off 45 and we knocked them off in the 31st over with the loss of 1. Seconds top of division 2, and look strong in all depts, as proven by losing our opening bowler/batsman today due to injury and others stepping up to the plate.

I thought Wearmouth 1sts lost to Coundon yesterday mate?

Houghton beat Belmont, and sit top of the 1st division halfway through the season. Very tight though as top 4 are only 4 points apart.

I could very well be getting my fixtures mixed up in fairness. Either way, I know we lost.

First team got beat off a good Kimmer side don't understand how they are not challenging for the league if they have that team every week

Know a few of their lads who are very decent but have to say ( this is my personal opinion and I do not speak for LCC ) some of the stuff they got up to on the field is as poor as I have ever seen on a cricket field

Littletown 2s blew Kimblesworth 2s away - bowled them out for 26 and knocked it off in 4 overs. Not a competitive match at all. Heard there was some poor comments made from Kimblesworth 1s players yesterday.

What's gone on there then? When we played them there was a lot of words being said by there lads on the field, but I thought it was just because we hammered them, not the most sporting bunch of lads that's for sure

Didnt think much of our gaff. You played at theirs yesterday. Must have been like Lords was it?

Won't go into detail but I have played and then watched cricket for many years
The modern term is being " chirpy" let's just say they push the boundaries on that

They have invested heavily on ground development and youth cricket over the years........

Why can't you go into detail? Surely if it was as bad as you make out they should be named and shamed.

Aye. If lords has a massive slope at one end and has shite portacabins instead of proper changing rooms. Otherwise no a f***ing pile of shite (including their seconds who were probably the worst senior side i've ever played)

The wicket resembled a bog anarl, despite them having covers and suspicoulsy the rest of the wicket ends were bone dry.

We did Matt....Aleem's guest appearance as 12th man today must of taken a load out of him ;)

Kibbs 2s 143 off 45, WCC knocked them off losing only my wicket...still f'ing annoyed about that. I give it away.
