Seems most of the Southside has dodged it in the main.Watching it drift out to sea must have been a decent dump.I'm in the north currently, and can confirm this to be the case, heading your way.

I was out in Newcastle city centre when it landed, luckily just outside marksy's so dodged in there for 5 minutes, it was pretty strong rain and wind for literally 5 minutes, then blue sky and sun.
