We need a new manager (Can I have some bites please)

As much as i like him he is showing his limitations to get us to that next level which is top2 in this division. His lack of timing on substitutions and stubborness to rotate the players will cost us promotion. If by any chance we do scrape up via the play off's we will be cannon fodder very quickly because of the fact it's a squad game now and not just your best 11. I realise some of our fringe players aren't as gifted as the first picks but that's what managers do... fit them in. Even the top teams have baggage, even if they did cost millions more than we could imagine.
Maybe a good January window will prove me wrong.
😂😂FFS

What an absolute donkey

Who do you suggest we can realistically get who could take us to top 2 when competing against teams who have recently come down from prem with parachute monies

I think a couple of our esteemed strikers need to take him to one side, cut his striker tie in half, punch a hole in his striker hat and nack his striker brolly.

He’s done that once and it was after the club sold his top goalscorers in january

Imagine how we’d do if just got rid of Isidor/Mundle/Rigg in January or what have you
Selling your better players is the model. So we’d better watch out for L’Orient v2.0.

Not having this like.

He’s working under the same constraints as to squad limitations - in both experience and depth - as all previous managers. It’s always this time of year when those underlying problems surface.

Every single manager who’s worked under KLD and Speakman has ended up saying/complaining about the same thing. All of them. Yet some people still think “managers” might be the problem.

Selling your better players is not quite the model

You buy a young player. Develop them. While developing you buy a young player in that position and develop behind. When first player is sold other player steps in. See Clarke -> Mundle

Or when that young player is sold for big money you buy someone who’s already virtually ready made

In lorient case they sold his best players and did not replace nor try to

Funny that you should go for the Clarke-Mundle example, rather than say Stewart-Hemir.
