In no way was I advocating reduced attendance. Everything and anything seems to be able to be cancelled/changed by a vocal minority these days, that's wrong but a vocal majority is a different prospect.

I referenced on another thread that a section of fans have confused loyalty to the Club(the thing that's lasted a century and will go on for a century) with the Business(Sunderland PLC) and whereas other clubs fans can tell the difference, we have overly identified and confused the two.

What truly mystified me was the fans all summer babbling on about company records and finances, expertise on data and how doing things the right way was the answer and it reminded me of those long conversations with mates when championship manager first came out. My senses were overloaded by the utter tripe talked on here last summer and at our level of a fan we want effort and graft with a touch of class to win games and NO silly goals and stay in the game was always the keane mantra.
