We did our bit

Every display actually costs me money. The travel to and from the ground etc.

This whole thing saddens me so much. Just a group of lads trying to improve the matchday experience.
I can well believe it actually costs u and, for what it’s worth, I think it’s blatantly obvious ur just a group of fans who are indeed trying to improve things at the match. ‘Noli illigitimi carborundum’ as the saying goes

Ignore them marra you and the group are legends, those on twitter are just dole wallers with nowt to do

Not worth the time or effort mate.

No, like I said the display looked a bit ‘meh’ for 15k but I put that down to poor choices rather than any fraudulent use or non use, of funds. With the pyro’s however I thought it was pretty much good value for money if anything.
It's not even down to poor choices. The club won't let them use card due to fans throwing them on the pitch and the plastic materials used yesterday are the only fire safety approved by the clubs H&S people.

You can only work with the tools you're given in a short amount of time. With the barriers the club constantly put with these volunteers, I'm actually amazed they ever get a display completed.

However when the instructions to prevent anti Mag / sportswashing displays were made I feel u should have resigned from the whole process. By keeping involved in the display u were making urselves a part of the whole derby match management fcuk up & so are seen as being an integral part of the ‘regime’
What a load of nonsense.

For a start from a purely practical perspective, how do they then return the thousands of pounds already donated to each individual person? Which will be hundreds of not in the thousands of individual donations. Or are you suggesting they keep that money and use it for an entirely different purpose opening them up to accusations of fraudulently acquiring that money?

And the idea that anyone beyond absolute heed-the-balls see SO37 as tied in with the club...total rubbish.

Im not going to respond to any straw man arguments u raise.
As for what u may think I’m ’suggesting’ u either haven’t read my post or ur a blithering idiot. I feel it’s the latter so I’m not taking any chances. Goodbye.

Of course they’re defensive over it  They’re being falsely accused of stealing money man ffs

I’m gonna start a rumour that Hannah got bucked by a horse. If she denies it, she’s acting defensive and it means it definitely happened. If she doesn’t address the rumour, she’s staying awfully quiet which means she’s definitely done it.

Don’t forget the ‘no smoke without fire’ rhetoric.

Social media is the absolute pits nowadays.

The same lass having a go at the lads, has a Spirit of 37 organised pre-match display as her cover photo on her Twitter profile.

Unbelievable

Fair enough
I don't have a problem with people having an opinion on whether they like a display or not. That's their call. I personally prefer the cards to the plastic and material flags to the foil. But they can only do what they are permitted or can afford to do.

But people on Twitter etc to accuse them of stealing money is deplorable. They quite simply don't understand the cost of goods and also the running battles they have with the club to get anything done. The club won't even supply a safe place for the material banners and flags to be stored. This is why the end up damaged and needing repair etc.

I suggested the storage containers behind the ALS building, but these would cost £150 per month and I'm sure the Twitter brigade would accuse them of stealing that money as well unless they saw the monthly invoice

It's easy when you protect yourself from engaging with the practical matters these lads have to with every single display. Very easy.

Only wants to have a conversation, so I asked her why she’s posting baseless accusations

People are generally thick as fuck. Unfortunately, social media has given them an audience of equally thick as fuck people to make them feel like their opinions are relevant.
