Shame. Probably one of the most rounded and unbelievably talented footballers this country has produced but simply, that doesn’t always translate into the world of football management.

Exactly, being a good player doesn’t automatically mean they will be a good manager/coach, I think Rooney has proven that he isn’t up to it.

Well Yes, they have decision makers at the club who have watched Rooney's time at Birmingham and decided "We want some of that !" so there must be other problems to sort out.
