Watching Yorkshire

Crook Mackem

Striker
So every year we head off down to Scarborough for a few days to see the wife's family. We rent an appartment on the front, its quite smart and thankfully because there are loads of us, costs me very little. Its literally about 5-10 mins from the cricket ground.

My next door neighbours in there a few years back was whoever Yorkshire were playing that week, might of been Nottinghamshire. Canny set of lads.

Anyway thats by the by, I did notice when we down this year they playing a one dayer against Essex and if its a nice day I quite fancy sitting in the sun with a few beers watching it.

Do you need to pre book tickets for these things, cant imagine they get that busy but having never been in there before I dont really know. Also, how likely / unlikely is it that the likes of Brook / Bairstow will turn out ?

would imagine you'd be fine for paying on the day, doubt they'll be playing as the one day cup is same time as the hundred and they'll be playing in that (or brook might be still with england sides)

You can pre book via the YCCC website, but if the game is shortened or rained off, Scarborough CC’s ticket conditions are that you can’t have a refund, just a ticket for another day at Scarborough. I think the ground holds about 4-5k so paying on the gate is quite feasible.
