We still would have still finished in 7th even if we won all 3 games.
Maybe not. Could be that Brentford or Brighton are less complacent if we beat Wolves, get more points and actually we finish 8th or even 9th if we win all 3. Who knows.

Only thing we can know is that it worked out well as it was and, on the basis it couldn't have worked out better mathematically, it could only have been worse. And he got his Operation 3 weeks early which must be a positive.

I did write more to basically say "Would we have got the 4 points in the other 2 games?". Who knows what would have happened as it's a sliding doors moment and owt that happens after would be different in so many way.

Good thing is, we did it so it's nothing that cost us 7th that's for sure.
 
With hindsight it has been good as we still finished in the highest possible position, and has given him 3 weeks headstart on his recovery.

However, we could have got at least another couple of points, which would have made the season even more impressive.
