We shouldn't be in this position though, so you have to wonder.

Always been inconsistent with T-20 for some reason, maybe Durham should draft in better overseas specialists like Afridi, Razzaq or Southee like other teams have for the comp....if we have the cash that is :?:

To be fair, we're in a much better position than last year when we had two big name & money overseas players

God knows, but with the players we have available we shouldn't be sweating on the last game.

Colly, Blacky and Mustard would probably make a Division select X1, and the rest of them aren't bad either.

Our team is arguably the best T20 outfit in the country, but we always flatter to deceive.

While our batters have let us down in the last couple of games they have been canny this year with Blacky, Muchall and Mustard doing well in particular. Our quick bowlers occasionally have their day but they never really seem to learn in this form of the game.

:eek::eek:

fuck me

Hampshire and Somerset are streats ahead of us

Hampshire have once again played it smart by having 3 good spinners this year and also by preparing dustbowls at the Rose Bowl, I'd like to see how they would get on at say Trent Bridge for example. Somerset have a destructive batting line-up but their bowling is a bit weaker. The team I thought would do well is Essex but they have been a bit hit and miss, think Surrey are looking good now, genuine pace attack, experienced spinners and plenty of boundary hitters.
