Durham batting with Lees and Jones opening so that's Jones ahead of Dickson in the pecking order for a start in the first championship match.
Any word on the likes of Clark and Trevaskis ? Injuries or probably play in next friendly ?

Not sure but would imagine neither in contention to start championship so left at home even if they where available. Trevaskis appeared to get written off last season as a bowler in the championship last season and now with the arrival of Borthwick he will put do whatever slow bowling is required in the first block of championship matches.

Durham declared overnight on 287. Rushy opening the bowling with Potts so that could be the new ball pair for the opening match. Also interesting that Poynter has got the gloves so it looks like he may well keep wicket at Trent Bridge.

Watched this morning session they didn't really look like getting a wicket barely made the batsmen play and miss. Mind decent pitch for March.Only 1 wicket for our bowlers though
Not really important at this stage, just about getting overs in their legs so I’m not worried yet
Yeh ,pretty dire forecast anarl. Makes sense to call it a day now if only for the groundsmen's sake. Fortnight before the proper stuff, surely we should fit in another friendly.
Covers coming off and Warwickshire have declared overnight......

Yeah you could be right. He actually took over the gloves halfway through Warwickshire's innings. I thiy it would be a waste if a batting spot if they played one as a specialist batsmen.
