Steve Bruce said he played for the above in the Tyneside Senior League in his TMS interview in Barbados.

Never heard of them though. Did they exist back in the day or is this a Blair 'sitting on the Gallowgate End' thing?

I'm almost certain we (Consett) used to play Wallsend in the 80s.

LOL. Probably, I only met him a couple of times and he had his whites on then.

In the early 80s they used to play at a sports complex at Wallsend. Not sure what happened to them though.

Played against them a few times for Hebburn when we dropped out of the tyneside senior league and moved to the Northumberland league.... They played at centurion park where the golf club was.

Think they just lost players and dropped out

According to a Northumberland source, they moved from Wallsend Sports Centre and became Cramlington CC and are now in NTCL.
