I was just curious to know if anyone's done it before as it would save me having to call the walk in in the morning.
You can just walk in, no need to get an appt.
Nice one.
I thought you had to ring NHS direct to get an appointment now ?
Which one would you go to ? Bunnyhill is appointment only via 111You're throwing a spanner in the works now mate. You sure? Do they have to assess whether they think you need one first or do you just ask for one?

Which one ? might be different for different walk ins.You can also just stroll in and take your chances with them being busy or not. Or you could about a month ago.

Website is confusing like, I know a mate of mine was turned away from the one in Houghton because they hadn't rang the number.Bunny Hill. Stroll in, tell them the crack, then you're given a slot. I'd ring like, saves waiting about.

Tucked.What if you haven't got a phone?
You cant self refer for an x-ray, by law it has to be requested by a doctor or an authorised delegate. The only time it is possible is in a few areas when smokers or people with persistent cough could drop in for a chest xray .
He isn't self referring though. He's going in, telling them the crack and hoping they check him out.
