Viva John Terry

God help us.....

KLD is a big football fan and he is not from this country. Hopefully he has contacts in Europe and can rustle up a proper coach so we don't have to put up with John Terry stinking the place out.
I'm not sure an outstanding coach is needed right now, it's league 1 especially one from Europe. We need someone to come in and get them doing the basics and set the defensive up. Also someone the players will be motivated playing for, John Terry would be a very good appointment

Based on what?

Unproven, but also a horrible human being.
Skp would have been in the same unproven category for me and look how far down the leagues he had to go to get his 1st appointment.

Just re read what you've quoted
I don't need to, I know what I quoted. Terry would be someone the players would be motivated to play for? Really?? How do you work that one out? Sure most our players don't want him anywhere near our club, or their wives.

He won't be leaving Cobham, Birmingham was an easy commute, utter nonsense this thread. And ooh look at me I know him.

Him and JD at the club, proper fanny magnets

Dear me, have you heard yourself. Absolutely clueless. I don't need to explain how I worked it out.
Hope you enjoy reading the sun in morning. Ta ra

Would just feel like a Home Bargains Gerrard. Everyone else is appointing ex "Golden Generation" players so jumping on the bandwagon. We need someone who isn't a total dinosaur but has some sort of track record and identity.

Better than some of the names being touted. Simon Grayson? Really? Terry is highly thought of as a coach. But we don’t want a born winner here, surely? We’d rather a footballing dinosaur like BSA.

Over the last 25 years the managers who have worked best have been Reid, Keane and BSA. Tough, thick skinned, arrogant, manly types, all a bit dodgy/mavericks in their way.

Terry is probably our type, whether we like it or not.

Managing Sunderland (or Newcastle) is a real pain in the arse. The level of scrutiny and pressure is disproportionate to our status. We needs someone with massive balls.
