Vinted

I've sold about a dozen items on there, through the wife's account, mostly jackets/coats. Most expensive was an unused ultra light tent for about £260, which was more than I paid for it as the prices have shot up. Only thing to get nicked was a new, still with tags dry robe coat. Still got paid, eventually. The Mrs has sold about 150 items over the past couple of years, with no bother at all.

He must take his own knives and forks to restaurant and his glass to the pub ,his cushion to sit in a taxi or Uber ! ;)
I do check my glasses in the pub to make sure they are clean and if bar staff stick their fingers in the glass as they pick them up, they are starting again.

There are some scruffy people around. I don’t want their fingers in my glass.

You mustn’t have drank in Idols back in the day

I'll have to have a look at this vinted like, got a few pairs of 501 light coloured Jeans off years ago, don't think I've worn them, and probably all sorts of other stuff.

Remember to wash 2nd hand clothes, or keep them in a bin bag for 72 hours.

The risk of SCABIES is high.
Have you got any details or examples? I've bought/acquired clothes/boots from vintage shops, charity shops, EBay, Vinted, even car boot sales. I've never had any affliction from said purchases but I'm now terrified I must just've been lucky for 40+ years...

Secondhand and thrift store clothing. The risk from pre-owned clothing is slightly higher than from new retail items because the wear history and handling are unknown. Research cited by found a 2.7% parasite presence rate on unwashed secondhand clothing, dropping to less than 0.13% after proper laundering. That is a dramatic reduction with a simple wash cycle.

I would wash all clothes, new or "pre-owned" before wearing them. Never caught scabies.
