Like what? Any personal attacks at Diarra? I haven't seen any as i was at the game....or basically just people saying he should have scored????
Starting from about here

It was, isidor was running at an angle, Martinez slipped as he came out, Isidors finish was excellent but he had a gap that Martinez left due to his slip. Diarra was head on which is always harder as a one on one, the keeper had came out, shut off angles, if he tried to place it past him there’s every chance he would have got a foot, toe, body part to it. It was way harder. I think Diarra probably took the best option he just under hit it giving Martinez time to adjust and get a finger tip to it. How anyone can watch them chances and say they’re identical is beyond me like.
That's your opinion. Mine is Diarra had both sides and loads of room to slide it either side of Martinez. Diarra didn't help himself one bit mind by running straight at Martinez, like Rooney pointed out last night.

That’s fair enough, I mean I couldn’t disagree more but we’re both entitled to our opinions on it.

I think there’s a bit of both mind, obviously most are just stating he should have buried it. Others questioning his ego etc
Nothing too personal i see then, just people letting off steam at the time on the match thread it looks like....they would have been no good then if they heard what was being said in our end at the time he missed.

Your off your tits if you don’t think he should of squared that or hit it early it’s lack of awareness
You are off your tits if you think the only alternative to looking behind for support when he's clearly one on one with the keeper is to run like Forest Gump. 🤷‍♂️

Why would he square it when he's through on goal? It's just retrospective nonsense. He had a go and the keeper saved it.

I can see why Diarra tried to chip it but in those situations just slide it down the side of him, great save tbf though.

It is what it is.

I think he was too close to Martinez by then. If you compare it to Isidor's goal, Wilson took the shot much earlier, and from a bit wider. The closer you get to the keeper, the fewer options wou have.
Aye but why take the risk when you can slide it to the right for a tap in?

Talbi was behind him, and probably not in his line of vision.

There was one comment i saw on the match thread saying he should never wear a Sunderland shirt again.

I’m certain that Talbi would have been screaming at him to let him know he was there.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not calling for Diarra to be lynched. Mistakes happen, but to not come out of that situation with a goal is very poor. Hopefully he will learn and hopefully he won’t let it dent his confidence.

It was a brilliant save. People for some reason hate on a chipped finish but it’s one of the most effective finishes in modern football with the style of goalkeeping used in 1v1s.

9/10 times, that exact finish goes in. You’ll not see many keepers making that save.
Unless they are WC winners

Because it’s a tap in for talbi ! Looking behind he’s in his peripheral vision almost man footballers look around all the time when they on the ball

You seriously think he doesn’t know talbi is there :):):):):)
