These pl teams need to realize they can’t rely on the three promoted teams being absolutely shit. There would have been grounds for complacency the last two years from December onwards/ not this year.

pundits and other team supporters are taking it for granted that we will get beat. "We will get three points, it's Sunderland" attitude. From what I have seen so far, we have matched or bettered, all the teams in not only workrate, but ability. We haven't met a " better team" yet. We will of course, and get beat, but We are not the "whipping boys" that they all expected and want us to be.
I also believe we will get better as we go on.
 
Anyone else think Watkins looks disinterested. Seems to have been that way since Emery dropped him for Rashford. Watkins looks like he's already looking for a move.

Villa look to have a few problems. Buendia and Kamara looked poor too. Again, Buendia was sent packing to Bayer Leverkusen on loan as not wanted, but Emery is having to play him this season due to outgoings.
 
After the 1-1 draw at our place we got talking to a few walking back to the buses they were of the opinion Emery has took them as far as he can
